LJ Comment Day

September 7th, 2004 (09:44 pm)

Well, this snuck up on me a lot quicker than I thought. Actually, time seems to be shooting by a lot at the moment (Almost forgot my mother's birthday on Saturday, and had forgotten that we were all going out for a meal together :) ). So on that note, there will not be a massive discussion topic, or fic masterpiece - just a few odds and sods :

What I've been wasting my life on: Been playing quite a bit on PhantasyRPG this weekend : http://phantasyrpg.com/main.php?view=9568, as recommended by tthjinni. Gah... slightly addictive.

Best typo I've seen in ages: "...Jack was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald from the 6th floor of a school book suppository in Dallas."

Twins update: Still at home, doing well and breast feeding away when they get a chance. Mainly, they're both on bottles for a majority of the time though. On Saturday, I got Lilleth dumped on me with a bottle and told to shut up. I'm pleased to inform you that she's definitely following in the footsteps of her older sister, and that my trousers are drying nicely. Towel over the shoulder, my ass...

Desperate Begging Corner: Is anyone interested in joining our Fantasy Football League? Anyone? Pleeeeeease?

Recomended Download: Evil Genius playable demo. Ever played Dungeon Keeper? Ever wanted to be a classic Bond villain with hordes of minions, an underground base, and a white cat to pet? Wait no longer, and don't forget to laugh manically.

One for the Brits here: So I'm working away at Gloucester Mail centre yesterday, when a parcel for Fred West, Cromwell Street, Gloucester comes through the machine. It's been redirected - No longer resident here, try Hell, third circle, Satan's chimmey. If not there, someone will be able to re-direct it.

And to top it all off, the parcel's loose, and the contents fall out. It's a dvd of One Foot in the Grave. Swear to God I'm not making any of this up.

Crossgen update: As spotted this morning - "I was particularly impressed by the stuff that is coming out of a small press publishing house in Leicester. Factor Fiction Press has recently taken on the publishing rights for Mike Sivier’s Violent. FFP is the brainchild of Selina Lock and Jay Eales and they have the critically acclaimed Girly Comic and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang on their publishing schedules as well." Looks like there might still be some hope...

Fun [freeswimmer11]

*raises a brow at some particulars of that meme - your quest for one* I am totally beginning to think you are rigging these things *wink*. Either that or the deity of memeage really wants me to get in your pants or vice versa.

On a side note, I understood most of your post - though not the mail bit or the crossgen bit. Or the part where I am supposed to care about football. But other than THAT....*feeling dim*

And in closing, I am decidedly not pastel. But if I were, I would be a nice pastel-ey teal with lavender streaks in my blue hair. I always wanted blue hair. Someday I will have a job where no one cares what color my hair is. Then I shall be able to bleach a few sections and dye them purple or blue or hot pink (though not all at the same time). Someday...~EV

Yay for the twins...!

Strange headline in newspaper..."Headless body found in topless bar."

No lie!
