Sherlock luck

No, really - there will be a writerconuk write-up coming soon, I swear!

But right now, I suspect quite a lot of people will be delighted to hear that producer Sue Vurtue confirmed that there will be a second series of Sherlock, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. With overnight ratings just shy of 8 million for the final 90 minute episode with plenty more time-shifted viewers to come, it was almost inevitable.

And given she's married to teh Moff, I call that more or less straight from the horse's mouth.

Can't wait for more Sherlock? The DVD of the first series is released 30th August.

Never heard of it yet?
