Help! Ooooo... shiny!

March 18th, 2008 (11:38 am)

So I've been playing a lot of 360 games recently. Achievement points alone are fun, and tend to make me play some games longer just to get these done, especially the collection challenges ie find all 100 hidden icons across all the levels.

However, I may have gone too far this time. Beautiful Katamari has an achievement for 100% Collection Complete. Which sounds easy, very do-able and frankly right up my street. Except that the entire game is about rolling a ball around a level, picking up smaller items and adding them to the ball and then being able to use the bigger ball to get to larger objects. So there's a crapload of items in the the game. In fact, about 3500 different ones.

And I'm now down to 64 missing ones. *embarassed foot shuffle* I may have been going through online lists trying to work out which ones are missing and where I might find them. Soooo....

How obsessed is Booster17?

Worrying so - one restraining order on its way!
Dude, get help. Seriously.
A tad obsessional, but it's okay.
Perfectly reasonable - I've done the same thing myself.

Where's the "Stop pissing around playing games and write more fanfic" button?

*snickers* Seconded.

But coming from the woman who has spent HOURS getting every "gap" in at least 4 different Tony Hawk games...*shuffles away* Glass houses and all.

I've done similar stuff in "Grand Theft Auto III" and "World of Warcraft." Some game makers do know how to press our buttons, don't they? :)
