As spotted by bastardsnow, the real reason why Dark Horse Comics have been pushing Buffy issue 12. Spoilers for today's issue obviously.

I now have tickets for the Reduced Shakespeare Company when they visit Cheltenham next month. Yay!

As well they should be.

Oddly, all that link does is make me roll my eyes.

*spit take*

... I don't know if I should be gleeful or wary about this whole Buffy thing. I think I lean towards cautiously amused.

VM - Veronica - Dammit

Now I'm going to have to buy Season 8.

[makes note to drop by the comic book store in the mall next time]

She Who Slays

I read the first arc as a trade paperback and was underwhelmed. Amused, but I missed the vivacity of live action Buffy. I'll buy the next ones when they're out in trade form, since we have no comic shop here, but I'm not sure that this little twist of Buffy's makes me more or less inclined to pursue it in a timely fashion. Seems a bit fanficwishfulfilmenty to me.

BtVS - My Fandom

*pimps for the second arc because hello, FAITH?*

Yeah - I'm sort of...whatever. I mean, it's Buffy which equals a pretty big "Who Cares?" in my book.

oh crap

Winces. Something I recently found out was that the group doing the Abridged Plays of Shakespeare tour at the moment is not, in fact, the Reduced Shakespeare Company. It is the same play, the same moves etc and they are hilarious but its not actually the RSC doing it. Check out the RSC website for proof - it's just the advertising to make you think its the RSC. I fell for it too and didn't realise until a few weeks ago. And fully intended to tell you and forgot.
