The first jaw drop moment was the "One Year Later" subtitle. At which, my theory of time being reversed later became totally and utterly confirmed.
Loved the opening musical montage. Yet another song to try and track down. *grin*
Anyone else NOT see the Professor Docherty betrayal coming up? Admittedly, I thought it was really a cure for the Doctor that they were going to trick the Master into using on him. Which, to be fair, would have been a million times better than everyone on earth calling out the Doctor's name. Massive eye-roll at that bit, especially when he started floating in mid air. Very much a Bad-Wolf re-run bit there. Clap your hands if you believe in
I guess from the title of the episode that the Master had to die, but I certainly called Lucy as being the one to kill him. Any thoughts on who picked up the ring from the ashes at the end?
Face of Jack?!?! No, seriously. Pleeease tell me he was joking. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease!
And loved Martha throughout the episode. Strong, determined and able to actually walk away from it all at the end. She's stronger now from her starting position after her journey, and it'll be fun now to see when she'll be back.
And Yay! for the return of the season ending lets-boggle-the-Doctor's-mind cliffhanger. Just so much fun to hear him going "What?!? WHAT?!?!" again.
Overall, a lot of good stuff, a lot of stuff to make you wonder what drugs RTD was on.
