You're a great and smart flist, aren't you?

Any suggestions for a present for my parents's Ruby Wedding Anniversary?

Devonshire Reds are called Rubies. You could get one of them.

Sam/Sun

You are a cruel, cruel woman. *blows raspberries*

If my parents had a cow, they would have a cow. Man.

The first laser ever was made with rubies. Give 'em a death ray.

Hey, it's cows or heavy weaponry. Looks like an easy choice to ME.

Improved Harvey [kajivar]

Of course, if I strap the cows to a missile... it's both.

Hmmm...not offhand.

If they like pretty dodads, I would say a nice engraved piece of crystal or some such.

If they are anti-dodad, is there some activity they enjoy (golf, birdwatching, something?) or someplace they might want to visit (a nice B&B somewhere?)??

I am out of ideas. :P

be good

The same speech Bridget Jones gave at the Darcys' Ruby Wedding Anniversary party? Just a thought.

Hope I'm remembering this correctly, but...You're in the UK, right? How about these:

Coins from 1966 & a cute little "Rember When..." sorta sheet that can be framed. Dunno how much you wanted to spend, but this is fairly cheap.
