Well at the moment you've only got 5 listed, and I remember 50,49 and 48.

Actually I remember that Japanese Boy was recorded as a 'dare' - the singer was the wife of a doctor, possibly from Scotland if my memory serves me well, who set out to have a hit record as a project, possibly involving a dinner party conversation - and once she had achieved her end, she went back to her normal life.

I know - but I'm watching a history thing at the moment. But I wonder what it tells you about the jumble sale that is my brain, that I had remembered that from goodness knows how long ago! And I remember My Boy Lollipop, and actually rather liked the Chesney Hawkes one!

Lil Wolverine

It's getting somewhat scary just how many of these are sitting in my mp3 collection. *grin*

K-9 shooty dog thing

It's so clear that all we have now is our thoughts of yesterday.

I know and like Brimful of Asha, Rapper's Delight sounds terribly familiar, Everyone's Free (To Wear Sunscreen) is adorable and My Sharona is classic (not necessarily such a good song, but certainly classic).

The Fuck You songs are just hilarious.

I was watching that, but then I realised they're still playing Ray Mears Bushcraft on one of the other channels...

I know entirely too many of these songs.

* realises it's a quarter of a century since the last time I heard "Shaddup You Face"... *
