State of Play

*sheesh*

Stumped, stumped, stumped. Nothing's flowing at all this weekend. :( Here a block, there a block, everywhere a bloody block. Almost tempted to start doing random drabbles just to try and break them.

Neighbours From Hell(mouth) Big sigh. Farce is a lot harder to write than it appears to be. Throwing three SG-1 people, three Scoobies, four soldiers and a snooty French hotel manager all around the one hotel is one thing. Throw in two Jack O'Neill's and the fact that one of them starts off the part as a rat and stir. Just not working itself out at the moment.

Splashdown I know exactly what I have to do in part 5. Why can't I do do it? Aftermath of the explosion, more with the NID and setup for the move to Sunnydale. I think I've lost my Teal'c voice for the moment, so this is proving tougher than before.

Test Run Anya's also proving tougher to get right than I thought. Given that most of my fics have been post Season 7, she's not a character that I've used before. Similar to Spike. But this one's been at the back of my mind for quite a while now, and it's nice to finally get it started. Still not sure on the title though.

Apocalypse Patrol Still at high concept stage and circling characters around in my mind. Buffy and Faith are the only definite ones of the seven or eight so far.

Meanwhile, the football season approaches the end, with the championship games tonight. Possibly another reason why I’m distracted somewhat. There was going to be a long discussion about how Jake Delhomme could well take the Panthers all the way to the Superbowl past the tired McNabb, but frankly I couldn't be bothered. All I will say is go Colts! Go Panthers!

And yes, I am a frustrated Rams fan.

Links are dead easy.

Imagine the curly brackets below as the angular ones used by HTML. Put

{a href="http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=1293073"}the text for the link{/a}

I'll do that again with the right brackets and you should see a link:
the text for the link

Easy, isn't it. The important thing is to make sure that the closing /a statement is there in the correct brackets, if it isn't all of the remaining text becomes a giant link.
