Damn. This is good stuff. And it looks like it's doomed already.

Damn American networks.

Jaye is one of the most screwed up, and enjoyable protaganists that I've ever seen in a TV show. And the actress who plays her is even better. Her facial expressions remind me of Jim Carrey on a good day, and the dead-pan slacker approach is great.

And how can you hate someone who works in retail, who hates her customer that much? Those of us who've done that will fully understand. Supporting cast are also stand-out - can't think of anyone who's out of place. From the mother-on-prozac to the father with the ultimate embarassing question.

And the humour is top-knotch. Can't think of another drama/comedy/dark show that I've laughed so much on. And how many other shows would have a character named Poor Bitch?

Highlights : "You have no larynx", "We got a stabbing victim here!", "Why even bother having an ass if you're not going to answer it?" and "You're not supposed to talk to strangers - Piss off!"

Check it out, okay? Treat yourself before it's gone.
