Forbes's list of the top Fifteen Richest Fictional Characters.

NY Post, page 6
SUPER VIXEN
RED-blooded director Brett Ratner is having his dream character written into the new "X-Men 3" movie. The mutant is, according to an inside source, "an unbelievably hot and sexy hooker. Her super power is that she secretes a pheromone that helps her to seduce men. She can seduce anyone." The source added the character has not yet been cast but, "they are open to all ethnicities who are in their early-to-mid 20s." Unknowns Kate Nauta and Aya Sumika are apparently auditioning. A rep for Ratner didn't return calls.

X-Men 3 apparently hadn't finished scraping the bottom of the barrel yet.

My theory is that since Batman no longer is bad, the accumulated bad Karma from Schumaker has transferred itself to the nearest comic book film franchise.

Spiderman should count itself very lucky.

BSG - Kick Me

Precisely.

For every Batman, there is a Catwoman.

*sigh* The remorseless march of logic. ..

Warner really need to delay Superman so it comes out in one of the good patches - and fix that costume!

Wasn't that essentially the minor villainous Charma, from the Legion of Super-Heroes pre-rebooted continuity? Only, her power simultaneously drove women to hate her...

Ack. I know too much comics trivia.

Ahem. "Villainous" is supposed to be "villainess."

Yeah, that's essentially the idea of Charma there. As well as many, many other plots, even going back to original Trek and beyond, to varying degrees.

Very few of them were openly hookers, though. ;)

Yes, so naturally they locked her up in an all-woman prison.

And somehow the Legion were surprised when her boyfriend came after them, blaming the LSH for her death.

Doh!

Wes Grr Argh [jidabug]

I am willing to admit that the first one set up a lot of what the second needed to function in the manner that I liked. Maybe it's just that I'm a sucker for good guys must team up with bad guys to beat third really bad guy stories. *grins*
