Sentimental yet sardonic [userpic]

*tries to look innocent as he slips in through the back door*

I really should get back in the habit of posting more often.

So while I'm warming up again slowly, here's some random fun news:

Online multiplayer games such as Farmville and Word of Warcraft are being cited as evidence in divorce and custody cases, according to USA Today.

USA Today lists this case as an example: "Father seeks custody of the kids, claiming (among other things) that his ex-wife never attends the events of their young ones. Subpoenaed evidence from the gaming site World of Warcraft tracks her there with her boyfriend at the precise time she was supposed to be out with the children. Mom loves Facebook's Farmville, too, at all the wrong times."

(aka in other words, I might possibly have been spending too much time recently on the 360, rather than y'know actual fic writing, beta-ing and hanging out on LJ and all *shame-face*)

Bah. I haven't posted anything new in over a year! I DO stilll live!

As for the WoW thing... I actually KNOW a couple that got divorced over Everquest and have heard plenty of stories of divorce and child custody cases based on MMORPG. Sad sad sad state of affairs!

Oddly enough, I was just thinking about you as well. In that whole they-haven't-posted-for-a-while type thing.

Not dead then? Keep it up! ;)

Yes you should come around more!

And you also should figure out IRC and come chat with Dave and me in #comicbooks. It'll be just like the old days. ;)
