Torchwood Day Five

One of the better finales RTD has done.

Was not expecting that ending with Jack and his grandson. Chilling.

Bridget : Made of win with those lenses. Though I was almost also expecting another gun... can't deny the PM deserved it.

Frobisher: Ouch. Ow ow ow. And made the worse by Jack saving the day eventually.

Dark, depressing, and totally in keeping with the series so far.

It was a fabulous piece of television, even if I do feel like shoving a piece of frozen cod up RTD's arse.

Nice icon. Hope you're feeling better. :(

And cod? Fairly restrained...

DMC -- Dante and Nero Guns

If he doesn't bring back Ianto in season 4, I'll make it a sword fish!

TW-Janto no kiss

Absolutely superb television from Auntie. And it's not often you can say that about a sci-fi series.

More than the destruction of Torchwood and the loss of Ianto, what was most depressing to me was that I'm not sure our politicians wouldn't act in just that way.

Not only was the sense of menace and threat really there, finally Jack is a character rather than a Gary Stu caricture.
