I should post more

March 17th, 2009 (09:08 am)

shapinglight said it best: After a while of non-posting, doesn't it become harder and harder to actually post at all? It's that awkward gap of well, I could post about X, but I should have posted about that last week, so it seems kinda late now... And thus, the cycle of non-postage continues.

That said, what's been going on in Booster's world? Two teeth out last Monday was probably the biggest, work continues to suck on an ad hoc basis, depending on which boss our section gets from day-to-day and just how many people are not in that day. And actual writing is still not getting done.

What's going on with you lovely people then?

Good for you for breaking it.

My work sucks big time too at the moment. :(

Head-desky [lurker32]

Work suckage is interesting in a purely academic way : just what new and different way are they going to screw me over today? The main difference appears to be who's in charge of the section that day, Boss-With-a-Clue or Knows-Better-Than-You-Boss. And the other big problem is whether I have enough equipment to actually do my job.

Whereas my main work suckage involves what is the latest Word From On High from our new <strike?fuehrer</strike> boss, which are coming thick and fast as we're on the point of changing from a comfy little small operation into a county wide super-er- organisation.

It's not as bad as your work suckage, just a bit rubbish at times.

Ouch!

I am very sympathetic about the teeth.

Not a lot is happening around here - I am deep in elves and orcs, S2C is deep in the duvet...

Since I appear to be in the clutches of a similar cycle, I'm glad to see your post! It's encouraged me to post to my LJ too.

Not much happening with me really - work, work, some reading, some pondering over writing a fic, more work. :sigh:

Seeing as my roommate woke me up this morning with this rendition of The Irish Rover, I have to commend any resident of the British Isles for seeking dental care. My God, just look at those front teeth on Shane MacGowan. He looks like Gollum.

I'm doing fine. Trying to figure out a plot for that Transmet crossover with Doctor Who, but just the character interactions thus far have been fun.

Word on the cycle of non-posting. I'm sort of head-scratching trying to decide what's been too long gone and what should be mentioned.

Life is wonderfully, normally, boring. :D
