Oh, thank god.

Thanks to the wonderful draconin who mentioned this. There is a way to turn off all those annoying Twitter posts that don't get LJ-cut. In fact, all of them.

All you have to do is enter a single line of code into your custom style sheet (*no* knowledge of CSS required, easy to do) and you'll find that although you still get the "Automatically shipped by LoudTwitter" message you don't get the actual posts themselves. Total time to make the change; under one minute.

Details can be found in this post by the also talented firefly124.

It hadn't quite gotten me to the boiling point (it's been a really long shitty month so far and we're only halfway through), but I know of at least two other people who have ranted loudly on their flist.

Sorry.

Is it a bad thing that I don't really understand what you have just said?

And who is the nekkid woman in your icon?

Consider yourself extremely lucky. *grin*

And this woman? I have absolutely no idea. She just showed up in my icons one day (we suspect it's the notorious LJ browser cache problem) and I liked her. I'm hoping that one day, someone will recognise her.

Recognise her how?

"Hey! That's my sister!"
