Torchwood finale

Well, I was sorta expecting those two to snuff it - I'd heard before that Tosh and Owen were probably not going to be in season 3, but I was hoping that (and the other rumours about s3) was wrong. Still, there really wasn't anything much more that could be done with Owen to be fair. The ever increasing amount of unhealable injuries that he would get would eventually mount up unless they found a magical healing plot device.

Tosh I will miss a lot more than Owen to be fair. I was hoping that as her 5 years of working for Torchwood were up, that she'd get to retire for a bit after Owen's death. *sigh*

Overall, Jack was a complete idiot. You're in Torchwood 1901 and now have 107 years to plan. Anything you think up would be something better than he came up with. At the very least, set the defrost to go off a day before this all happened - maybe manage to sneakily get all the bomb sites evacuated? Sheeesh... and I refuse to believe that no-one ever looked inside that drawer for the last 107 years and went "Hey, isn't that Jack?". Even Tommy got yearly checks.

RIP Tosh - you will be missed.

Owen? Shut the door on your way out.

Such as being exposed to massive amounts of radiation and Ascending / acquiring mutant superpowers / becoming a radioactive zombie?

Now with glorious extra spelling!
Doctor Who - Pwn3d - Dalek Zap

I'm a little upset about Toshiko, but you're definitely right about Owen. All he needed to be as useful as nipples on a boar was a broken arm or something. Honestly, I was half expecting for Owen to snuff it in the last episode when Captain John blew them all up, and I knew he was done for when he went to the nuclear power plant.

Jack WAS an idiot. I know he's crossing his own timeline, but he could have gone elsewhere. The Cotswolds are nice, and they're pretty close to Cardiff, so he could have been back swiftly if he needed to be.

Do they check the "Dead Guy" drawers yearly? I thought that they only pulled Tommy out once a year to make sure that he wasn't freezer burned. (Jack, being Jack, didn't need that sort of thing because he can't die.) My guess (wank?) is that they put him in under another name and marked him as deceased.

I am going to miss them both, but perhaps Owen more...because Burn Gorman is a better actor that Tosh chickie poo. Still, they were both utterly wasted on this series. *SIGH*
