In a mustn't-lose game for England against Croatia tonight, the half-time score is 2-0 down.

The team doesn't look like scoring, aren't energetic at all, are too reliant on the long ball upfield and frankly seem too scared to do much. I bet McClaren brings on Beckham in one last desperate "cro" of the dice.

ETA : 2-1 back, due to a soft penalty in our favour.

ETA 2: 2-2, thanks to an excellently taken goal from Crouch and a damn good pass from Beckham (yes, I was right :P)

ETA 3: Naturally, Croatia now make it 3-2 to them. *head-desk again*

switzerland 2006

Well, Norway failed to qualify - given that they lost against Turkey on Saturday. They would've qualified if Bosnia had won or played tied against Turkey today, and Norway won against Malta. They managed the latter, but Bosnia, having nothing to play for, did nothing for 90 minutes and Turkey won there as well...

I'm still happy to be cheering for Switzerland.

hmmm, Guess England will be joining the rest of the Nations on the Island in the "Celtic Cup" then.

Sorry about that.
