Desperately seeking focus

November 14th, 2006 (11:52 pm)

empressvesica suggested we need to be able to buy focus in a bottle. I'd like a caseload please.

Busy bouncing about between a Jack/Gwen smutlet, a Willow/Logan smutlet, Lily Kane the Slayer drabbles and a crack!fic o'Doom. And yet, all I want to do right now is watch the Amazing Race.

Dear Aaron Sorkin,

Regarding Studio 60: Just give Jack his own show, split up Matt and Harriet for good and stop hitting us over the head with unfunny stuff. Also, having you Matt constantly winning every arguement with Kristin whoever Harriet is getting boring fast.

Kthxbi.

PS - feel free to use more of Lucy, NewWriterGuy and Cal.

Studio 60 - Danny

So...who exactly would watch a show with Jack? I mean, he's an ass.

Now Danny. Danny is GOD.

I am surprised that this negative reaction is coming in response to (I assume) last night's epi, which was LOADS better than any after the first two of this season. I felt like they really got back on their stride. And re: Gay Rights - Matt HAD to win that argument. Harry is in a sucktastic position and there was no way any show was going to show her doing anything but suffering for riding the fence. I should know the suckatasticness of the position...no really.

Serenity - River with sword

I didn't expect to like Jack, by damn, he's grown on me. And I loved the first part of the ep - it's just that the second part didn't live up to my expectations. I still don't understand completely how Tom got off the speeding rap in the end, and don't buy Matt/Harriet at all. I guess it's more the expectation that I'm disappointed about. Still, at least we have a full season for definite.

Seen Amazing Race? I just finished watching it.

I still don't care for Jack. He seems to be a self-serving coward that simply follows the view that is popular and least likely to get him in trouble. Even his little speech at the end of Part II was as much about self-interest and venting his annoyance as doing anything remotely like what's right.

My interpretation re: Tom is that the judge decided he liked him. That is all it takes to get charges dismissed sometimes. I really liked the Tom story line and honestly thought he should get out of the whole thing for not playing the sympathy card.

And yes - saw Amazing Race on Sunday. Eh. I hate it when they split the superlong episode over two shows. And the Moms need to go home. NOW.
