The Apprentice

I have a guilty secret.

I'm addicted to The Apprentice.

I accidentally caught half of one of the UK's version (starring Sir Alan Sugar, btw) and became hooked from that point on. Unfortunately, I'd come in halfway through the series and didn't get to see all the fun and games that had occurred before. Then the blessed BBC began to run Donald Trump's Apprentice season 2 from the start.

Brand. New. Addiction.

And we're not talking watching Trump's hair to see when it moves (it's obviously a tribble, people!). Oh no... this time I get to see Stacie going insane with a magic 8-ball, Bradford giving up immunity in one of the most bone-headed ideas ever, the incredibly short, annoying and irritating Stacy getting fired, and Raj managing to turn a four bedroom house into a three bedroom house while expecting the value to go up. Truly beautiful sights to behold and marvel at.

And now there's Martha Stewart : The Apprentice. Glory be! There is a God of Television.

I haven't seen the Apprentice. My one and only reality tv addiction right now is America's Next Top Model. I love dummy spits and cat fights... I'm shallow like that.

Shoot! I wish I has seen this before I deleted the first episode of Martha: The Apprentice. It was good. I think I am hooked. But not on Trump's; he scares me more than she does.

Don't worry - I already watched it too. :D

Jeff was the worse Team Manager I've seen for ages, and frankly had to go. I had a bad feeling about that task as soon as they split into the two types of teams - creatives v corporates indeed. Any smart group of people would have mixed themselves up. *shakes head in mild disbelief*

Btw, what the heck is that thing Charles does with his phallic symbolcigar all the time? Totally distracting.

Smartest thing in the whole program though? The one team manager (Dawna?) splitting the team in two and sending one half off to do a focus group with the kids. Really, really smart.

Early Favourites : Howie, cos he just had so much fun reading the book to the kids.
Must Go Soon: Jim, because he's an irritating obnoxious twat. Dawn, because she's all passive-agressive with that banana stunt. Though I did feel sorry for her when she needed quiet to write the book.

*Blink*

Okay.

I don't have those sorts of thoughts on it. I think they are all losers for being on a reality show and I think Martha's the anti-Christ. But it was entertaining and I was happy to see that Team Leader sold up the river. It was totally his fault they failed.

See? I can't even be bothered to learn names.

And OMG I am not going to argue with you about the passive-aggressive nature of the banana thing. It totally wasn't. Not at all.
