Lois McMaster Bujold rocks my world, yo. Is "The Hallowed Hunt" set in the same universe as "The Curse of Chalion" and "Paladin Of Souls"? Because, if so, I am totally there.

Get moving. It is.

And bloody absorbing.

I'm deep in "Hallowed Hunt" myself, despite the fact that I really should be making jewelry right about now. But nooooo, I'm setting up a World of Warcraft account and feverishly reading Bujold instead.

And I do so like the main characters so far...every time I read a new Bujold, I get fangirlier.

I just got up to the drinking after the ice bear incident. And Ingrey and Ijada so need to get together.

Re: Bujold

Haven't gotten that far myself, but I'm enjoying the hell out of the book. Shapechanger-ish things are a particular favorite of mine, so seeing Bujold take it on has absolutely made...well, at least my week. Oddly, there's not much discussion about it over on the main LMB mailing list. *is boggled*

And yeah, I think that icon's way too cute. :-)

Done! And absolutely loved this one...I was a bit iffy on CoC, enjoyed the last one, and am absolutely enchanted by "Hallowed Hunt". For what it's worth. Oh, and after reading about the, er, signs of the Bastard's holy presence, I think it's fairly certain what god Miles would be attached to. And here I'd always thought he'd be devoted to the Son... *snicker*

Screaming, altercations, and people running in circles. Indeed.
