Crazy Frog

June 5th, 2005 (09:37 am)
embarrassed

current mood: embarrassed

For those of you vaguely interested, the entire CGI video for the Axel F/Crazy Frog can be watched here.

And yes, much to our shame, this is the current UK number one single.

Warning : Full Frontal Frog Nudity. You may wish to have small children look away.

head-desky [lurker32]

I only wish that I could.

That's actually blacked on on our tv screens. Yes, there's a little black box dangling there all the time. Way to draw even more attention to it.

out of your mind by cinnie

What does it say about me that the only objection I have to this is, "since when do frogs have teeth?"

Well, it certainly provides some amusement. And between his legs, is that a... Okay, nevermind.

Didn't have a chance to watch the whole thing (will do so later) but perhaps the small thing between his legs is really just a very tiny motor bike... that might explain why he seems to be riding nothing.

Oh, my. Words fail (but I'll try).

That's really the number 1 single in Britain? I shudder to think what songs are so bad that this is more popular.

It's not a single, it's a mobile phone ring-tone. Somehow it's ended up in the charts.

If you look at fanfiction.net from the UK their pop-up advertising includes the bloody thing.

Out. Sold. Coldplay. Brain. Cannot. Process.

Part of my brain just exploded trying to figure that out. I think I need a drink (but it's not even 9 AM!)

And it's a ringtone!?

actually, if you go to the following URL: http://gprime.net/video.php/bassbumpers, you can see the video without having to look at or avoid the umm, thing. In this version, it's blurred out without attracting attention to the fact that something is blurred out.

I'll, uh, take your word for it. (Outsold Coldplay?) At least I can now rest assured that the USA isn't alone in making questionable musical choices. (A ringtone?...I feel justified in my decision not to get a cell phone, now more than ever.) Almost a decade ago, at a PBS affiliate I occasionally volunteered at, the on-air talent during pledge-break season actually thought they'd get an increase in pledges if they promised to perform the Macarena live on the air. *shudder* (Well, it could be worse. It could be Oasis.)

Hee! Something with which to torment The Teenage Boy TM. Thank you! It's strangely compelig actually...wait...can't...get...song...to...leave...brain...

C'mon, look at the number of times Cliff Richard has topped the charts. Nothing shocks me any more.

So compelling that it has robbed me of the power of spell, apparently. Sorry.
