Return of the music lyrics quiz

amused

current mood: amused
current song: Now, that would be telling....

Yes, it's time once again for the 25 lines music lyrics quiz. These should keep you all puzzling while I’m at work. *enjoys the thought of everyone else sweating over these while he’s busy* Standard rules - one point per song title and one point for the singer.

Answers won't be put up for sure until I get back. Feel free to argue among yourselves, and try not to get any blood on the other guests. Snacks are on the side, and there's beer in the fridge. Enjoy!

1) Waste-bin full of paper / Clever rhymes, see you later

2) I'm just sippin' on chamomile / I'm watchin' boys and girls and their sex appeal

3) It's not the way you look, / It's not the way that you smile / Although there's something to them.

4) Friday night and the lights are low / Looking out for the place to go

5) I'm broke but I'm happy / I'm poor but I'm kind / I'm short but I'm healthy, yeah

6) And as for some happy ending, I'd rather stay single and thin

7) Find me and follow me through corridors, refectories and files / You must follow, leave this academic factory

8) Can you see them / See right through them / They have no shield / No secrets to reveal

9) Think what that money could bring / I'd buy everything
Clean out Vivienne Westwood / In my Galliano gown

10) She's got a smile that it seems to me / Reminds me of childhood memories

11) Twice as sweet as sugar, twice as bitter as salt /
And if you get hooked, baby, it's nobody else's fault, so don't do it!

12) Waters runnin' in the wrong direction / Got a feelin' its a mixed up sign / I can see it in my own reflection

13) She gave you everything she had / But she was young and dumb / She'd just turned twenty-one

14) With a torch in your pocket / and the wind at your heels
You climbed on the ladder / and you know how it feels

15) Oh, how she rocks / In Keds and tube socks

16) I need a man who'll take a chance / On a love that burns hot enough to last

17) Mother looking at me / Tell me what do you see? /Yes, I've lost my mind

18) Needless to say, the beast was stunned / Whip-crack went his schwumpy tail / And the beast was done.

19) We might be lovers if the rhythm's right / I hope this feeling never ends tonight

20) On a hot summer night / Would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?

21) I need some stimulation baby / A little conversation maybe
You gotta spend a long night crazy / There goes my baby

22) Oh, I could hide 'neath the wings / Of the bluebird as she sings.

23) So we're comin' out of the kitchen / 'Cause there's somethin' we forgot to say to you

24) They said save it boy, we've got you on tape / Yelling at an old lady, 'Touch my body'!!!

25) Laughing like children, living like lovers / Rolling like thunder under the covers

That should entertain your Mondays. *beams*

Faith - Kiss My Ass [jennymalfoy]

Which means it was Garbage.

The fact I didn't get it means it wasn't on either of their first two albums.

The two facts together mean you are severely trying my patience. You are the superior Garbage Fan. I think this has been well established. *sigh* No, I am never going to catch up. No, I am not going try.
