Ugh... still standing

April 4th, 2005 (11:58 am)

If those of you interested, then empressvesica and I are still alive. The Giant Ferris Wheel of Death has been survived, several bottles of blue cleaning fluid have been ingested, and wildecate is a hoot!

Oh, and Ves is addicted to Burnout 3 now, given that it is a game in which she is rewarded for hitting other cars. And crashing. And exploding. And down right anti-social driving behaviour. I pity whoever's picking her up at the airport.

Good to hear from you. You realize you're going to have to expound on the cleaning fluid comment. /:)

I prefer instead to direct you to wildecate's LJ.

Must go - Ves has just caused $213,322 worth of damage to 17 cars.

That cleared it all up....NOT.

Will start stockpiling Windex to ship over to Booster.

Give Vess hugs for me. Once you can pry the controller out of her hand that is.

The blue cleaning fluid is better known by it's commercial name. Blue WKD.

Insanity [by momentsintime]

She's getting surprisingly good at this game now. I think it's speaking to the violent side of her personality. :D

Now that I have the controller pried out, we shall see about lunch.

something I have always suspected about him.

Aw. I shouldn't do him down so much. He managed to resist joining in the chorus of "Under Your Spell" that Ves and I broke into while walking through St James Park. Must have been the daffodils that brought that on!

There's resisting, and there's walking several feet back, hoping no-one realises you're together.

AHH! You're one of those. And I only had to go to a dutch website to figure out what a Wkd blue was.

He did drink the WKD clear but that tasted like mouthwash.

*snerk* On the other hand, Ves has come round to liking the blue stuff so much, she just ordered some with dinner. :P

But yes - the clear is crap.

Buffy - Want Beer

From reading all of these comments, it sounds like a good time was had by all.

I have to say that reading this thread has brightened up my day considerably.

Small brats who ask you whether you're colour blind while playing pool deserve being 'accidentally' hit on the head with a pool cue.

Astro city? Very good taste. Ves was right - when we meet up, she's gonna smoke her way through an entire packet before we remember her.

Oh, and Dixon and Scott McDaniel just did a six issue Nightwing arc - Nightwing : Year One. Highly recommended.
